Rodolphe Milliat has lived in Brittany for 25 years where he founded the Sri Kailâsa Ashramam with his wife Martine. He has been teaching yoga for almost 40 years and has devoted a large part of his career to training yoga teachers, notably at CEFYTO Bretagne of which he is the founder, then in many other professional schools in France and Switzerland. He is a very close disciple of Sri Sri Sri Satchidananda Yogi and he has represented his teaching in different federations, international associations as well as numerous congresses.
In addition, Rodolphe is also the author of several books on Yoga: the Passage of the Breath, the Pedagogy of Asanas, Regards sur le Yoga, Hatha Yoga and Kundalini, the Bhagavad Gîtâ for the Use of our Western Contemporaries, the Use of Mantras, the Energy Systems of Hatha Yoga and a History of Yoga his latest published book. Alongside his teaching and writing activities, he directs the publishing house India Universalis through which he publishes translations of founding texts of yoga, samkhya and tantrism. His teachings are diverse: hatha yoga, pranayama, mantra chanting, Indian philosophy… All his interventions include multiple elements of the yogic tradition, very anchored in Indian culture.
