Sabrina Millecamps

Sabrina, who has been living in France since 2008, is from the rocky mountain village of Aspen, Colorado, where she was lucky enough to grow up in a community based on the idea that wellness comes from nourishing at the body level, mental, and spirit (body, mind, and spirit), in relation to others and the environment.

Sporty from a young age, she competed in snowboarding with the US Snowboard Team from 1994-2001. After years of great travel and constant activity, she left the snow to resume her studies in International Relations at the University of Washington in Seattle. During this time she discovered yoga as a way to regain the challenge without competition and to live better in her body after being operated on the knee and shoulder. She starts taking daily yoga classes in exchange for volunteer work (work-study or karma yoga) at the 8 Limbs Yoga centre. She enters the world of NGOs and cultural exchange while also working for UNESCO.

After some world tours after her studies through India, Mexico, South Africa, Bali, and Costa Rica, she landed in New York City and did a training as a Yoga teacher at the Center for Yoga Studies in 2008. A few months later, she packed her bags for France.

She was able to study with great teachers but her most important teacher is the everyday life and the natural world with all its wisdom. Its approach is to make the benefits of yoga accessible to all, and to cultivate community and exchange between and around yogis in a spirit of kindness, happiness, and good living!

Her teaching focuses on therapeutic yoga, mental health, somatic approaches, stress management and trauma healing.
