Sri Hanuman

Yogi and musician, composer, Sri Hanuman is from Ahmedabad in northwestern India.
He devoted himself to yoga more than forty years ago:
After studying philosophy at La Sorbonne, Sri Hanuman travelled through India for 25 years, residing in many ashrams and studying texts, including: the Bombay Yoga Institute under the authority of Sri Yogendraji and his son, Doctor Jayadev.

Initiated in the Tantric way by his Master Shri Kalyan Krishna of the lineage Sri Vidya, he also received the teachings of Swami Sahajananda from the Monastic Order of Sankaracharaya at Dattatraya Ashram (Karnataka).
He was a disciple of the famous sarangist Ustad Sultan Khan for the art of raga and Ustad Kausar Ali for tabla.

Sri Hanuman has led Nada Yoga (sound yoga) workshops and seminars in the Sivananda ashrams and centres of USA (New York), Canada (Val Morin, Montreal), Puerto Rico, Bahamas, Brazil, Uruguay, at the Yoga Integral Institute of New York, at the London Yoga Homeopathic Hospital, to the European Commission in Brussels, for Yoga Suisse and Yoga 7 in Geneva.

He gave numerous concerts in Europe and the Americas, as well as lectures on various aspects of the philosophies of India: Advaita Vedanta, Tantra, Samkhya, Sutras de Patanjali.

In 2018, Sri Hanuman spoke to the French Federation of Hatha Yoga of Sri Mahesh (FFHY), the Federation Inter-enseignements de Hatha Yoga (FIDHY), and the Institut Français de Yoga (IFY). He regularly gives concerts of Sacred Songs from North India.

Sri Hanuman directs and animates the cycle of Sound Yoga and sound therapy at La Roche du Theil (near Redon).

Join him at the Spirit Pop Festival for two workshops in the pure tradition of Nada Yoga, Saturday 26 July from 3pm to 4:30pm and Sunday 27 July from 6am to 7:30am for morning devotional chantings.
